Digital Resources, Inc., Southlake, TX was selected to be the System Integrator by CRM Studios, Irving TX for their new high definition production facility build-out.
The new HDTV system will facilitate CRM’s multi-year production services; For Glenn Beck, GBTV and Mercury Radio Arts.
Tim Davis, DRI’s Director of Engineering said, “It was a fast paced project from start to finish. Installation began right after Christmas and with a lot of hard work and a combined team effort GBTV met their target on-air date of January 3, 2012 at CRM Studios.”
The system includes four HDK-77EC/BF Ikegami HDTV Fiber Cameras with Fujinon HDTV Lenses, Autoscript Prompters and Talent Monitors, and Vinten Vector 90 Heads & Osprey Pedestals. The production switcher, a Ross Vision 3MLE incorporates a Ross Soft Metal Production Server, Dual Channel Ross Xpression Character Generator and Apantac LX-32HD Multiviewer. The systems infrastructure is supported by a Utah 400 Series Router, Ross Video, Ensemble Designs, and AJA distribution and conversion gear and an ESE Clock system. A Yamaha M7CL-48-ES, 48 Channel Digital Mixing Console with Ethernet Sound Capability was included as were Sennheiser Microphones and Genelec Audio Speakers. An RTS Zeus III 32 Channel Intercom system was included with wireless Intercom and IFB and AJA KiPros were included for content recording purposes.
