ANAHEIM, CALIF. (June 16, 2011) – Premier Mounts (www.mounts.com), a leading manufacturer of A/V mounts, carts & stands, and accessories, is showing their new line of equipment storage GearBoxes™, at InfoComm 2011, booth # 1331. The equipment GearBoxes™ are designed specifically for digital signage, rental & staging and other applications where the secure storage of equipment is crucial.

With three box sizes and many different mounting options to choose from, the new line of equipment storage boxes is extremely versatile. Each of the storage boxes has a locking access panel available with three different key options for added security. Ventilation holes along the sides of the boxes allow air flow to keep A/V equipment and IT components from overheating. The equipment storage boxes can be used with Premier Mounts’ carts & stands and ECM ceiling mounts.

The smallest equipment box, GB-MBX100, has a storage space of 8”x8”x2.63”, which is designed to fit Mac mini™ PCs as well as other small media components. The medium box, GB-MBX200, has a storage space of 13.25”x11.25”x3” and is designed to house laptops, digital signage appliances, switchers and other electronics of a similar size.

The largest equipment box, GB-MBX300, has storage space of 17.88”x13.71”x5.35” and comes with integrated rack mount rails 3RU high. Designed to hold freestanding or rack-mountable small form factor PCs and other digital media components, the GB-MBX300’s integrated cable bushing allows power and cable to feed directly into the secured box. This box is also designed for use with optional fans (CUS-FAN) that can be installed to increase airflow.

All of the equipment GearBoxes™ are available with a variety of different mounting options. They can be mounted directly to Premier Mounts’ ECM ceiling mounts, or to carts & stands using dual or single-pole adapters.
