The PLURA "SV"module is an automatic switchover unit for VITC signals. It monitors and analyzes two VITC sources. If a VITC source is lost, the VITC output is automatically switched to the other error free source. Connected with a reference time source, the VITC signal is monitored and analysed in conjunction with this reference time signal.
