Saint Mary’s College has selected our KOI Table design and the YES Series Nesting Chair for their new general-purpose classroom renovations. The College had both students and faculty participate in a month-long evaluation of several chair and table manufacturers. The KOI Table’s unique shape, size and caster legs addressed Saint Mary’s College’s desire for flexible classroom designs. The rooms can be configured in traditional straight rows and a variety of different collaborative cluster options. Since the College has a variety of different size and shape classrooms the single student KOI table helped to maximize the student count in each room. Even though this product selection was prior to the COVID-19 school closures, the table design allowed for quick and easy reconfiguration meeting the College’s new social distancing guidelines. Each renovated classroom is also outfitted with our Active Lectern with the unique “Eclipse” shaped top. The lectern is equipped with an all-in-one Apple iMac computer, a Logitech Conference Cam BCC950, Crestron MPC3-302 Media Presentation Controller and a lectern top Node power interface for faculty BYOD.
