In 2021, Lawrence University transformed a 200-seat traditional lecture hall into a 75-seat active learning classroom. Utilizing an AV over IP solution, any of the 14 pods can send its PC or laptop display to either of the 2 projection screens. The pod tables seat either 4 or 6 students and utilize CCI's Collaborative Series table. The pods incorporate CCI's Hide-Away Module to enable the monitors to lower when sight lines require it. The room is mostly utilized by introductory courses in the natural sciences, all of which have been redesigned to take full advantage of active learning pedagogy.
