A ‘Hole’ New Solution
New PA1001G Strategy Series Projector Pole Mount Amplifier Offers New Solutions for Distributed Speaker Systems
PHOENIX, AZ– Atlas Sound is proud to announce the PA1001G, the newest model of Strategy Series amplifier. Joining the successful PA702, this powerful amplifier provides new installation options for presentation system sound reinforcement.
The PA1001G pole-mount amplifier system features unique patent pending mounting system via a sealed hole incorporated into the chassis design. Simply install the projector mounting pole, align the amplifier chassis hole with the mounting tube, and clamp the unit at the desired height above the projector mount with the innovative pole clamp system included with the PA702. Afterwards, install the projector as normal. The slim profile chassis can also be single or dual rack mounted with an optional rack mount kit in a 1RU high configuration.
The PA1001G is a 100 Watt single channel amplifier designed to drive 70.7V or 100V distributed loudspeaker systems. It features an advanced switching power supply design which will allow global operation with either 120V or 220V AC power. Input is via balanced Phoenix style and summing unbalanced RCA input connections, which can be mixed using a recessed level control if both inputs are required for an application. Other features include an integral VCA for remote system volume control, unbalanced line output, an accessory outlet with surge suppression and AC fault indication, separate audio and AC sensing turn-on, front panel status LEDs, and recessed screwdriver adjustable tone and level controls. The current sensing and audio turn-on features allow the PA1001G to respond from standby mode when the projector is turned on remotely or when an audio signal is received.
“The PA1001G offers our customers a more powerful amplifier choice for larger distributed systems while retaining the security provided by our patented through chassis mounting system design,” said Steve Young, VP of Marketing and Sales for Atlas Sound. “In addition, the multi-voltage switching power supply will allow use of this unique amplifier solution most anywhere in the world.”
