May 31, 2023 - The respective AV and corporate business communities have recognized and honored Biamp through a series of awards during the past few months. Included below are highlights of the most recent accolades.
39Th Oregon Tech Awards: Biamp took home the Enterprise Award from the Oregon Technology Association (OTA) at a ceremony in May. One of seven categories, the Enterprise Award honors one large, established Oregon-based company that is a leader in its respective industry and the broader local technology community in the state. The award considers all of Biamp's accomplishments during the past year, including the success of new product introductions, community involvement, and its impact on industry trends.
Stevie Awards: Biamp's Project Designer software took home a Gold Stevie Award in the category of Achievement in User Interface Design. The Stevie Awards are a global awards program to honor the best in business across a variety of categories, providing gold, silver and bronze awards within in each category. Biamp received the top honors in its category for creating Project Designer, that "provides a positive end-user experience, a wide range of device coverage, and is overall easy to use and set up."
One judge noted, "Congratulations on creating a user interface that is simple, provides flexibility and allows customers to design their own. Having gone through this myself, I can attest to how long it takes to go through this process." Another judge also commented that, "the end design is also aesthetically pleasing."
Red Dot Awards: Biamp was also honored with two Red Dot Awards for the Parlé™ Video and Audio Conferencing Bars along with the Voltera™ line of power amplifiers. For more details, check out the announcement here.
The Red Dot Awards have recognized Biamp in the past for the Desono™ EX Loudspeakers, NPX Network Paging Stations, Vidi™ 250 4K Conferencing Camera, and the industrial design of the TesiraFORTÉ™ X and Devio™ SCX Digital Signal Processors in 2022, as well as the Parlé X-Series Microphones in 2020.
Sound & Video Contractor Innovative Product Awards: Finally, the Parlé VBC 2500 All-in-One Conferencing Bar won the Sound & Video Contractor Innovative Product Award for the Collaboration category. The awards recognize electronic and mechanical innovation across the pro AV industry. The Parlé VBC 2500 All-in-One Conferencing Bar was selected by thousands of readers through online voting. This is the latest in a series of AV industry award wins for the Parlé Conferencing Bars, showcasing its market-leading technology and design.
