The Comet Boom has a dual purpose. It may be used as a lamp boom or as a microphone boom by using the appropriate lamp mount or microphone attachments and microphone hangers. The Boom arm is adjustable and may be horizontally rotated 360° with the base locked in a stationary position. The vertical riser has an air brake for lowering boom arm.
