Atlas Racks Up New Solutions
Atlas Sound Debuts Universal Rack Mount Monitor Panel and Wall ‘Bracket” Rack Series
PHOENIX, AZ– Atlas Sound and the Mitek Communications Group take on more common installer problems by offering two new rack solutions with the UMRM Universal Rack Mount Monitor Panel and the AWV series of wall "bracket" racks. Both will debut at the InfoComm Expo in Orlando, FL June 17-19, 2009.
“These new products might not be the biggest ticket items we are introducing at this year’s show,” states Steve Young, VP of Marketing and Sales for Atlas Sound. “But they will be some of the most utilized moving forward because they give our contractors and installers more flexibility for their rack mounted equipment.”
The UMRM is designed for mounting flat panel displays in Atlas Racks. This 9 RU kit is perfect for providing visual feedback for Atlas Sound’s ControlKom and Varizone mass communication systems, or other video surveillance systems in need of visual monitoring at the rack. It accommodates any 4:3 display up to 19” diagonally in length, and features a black powder coat finish to match the look of the racks themselves.
The AWV Series is a cost effective wall mount system which allows low profile mounting of Ethernet switches, mixer amplifiers or other rack mount electronics. These bracket style hardware kits are offered in 2, 3, and 4 RU configurations and create flush mounting options for equipment – vertically to walls or under desks and work spaces- when space and component needs do not facilitate the need for a full rack. They too feature a black powder coat finish.
Young continues, “Atlas Racks have always offered great flexibility and extreme durability. The UMRM panel and AWV series brackets add even more options to a full line of accessories, allowing for video display installations and low profile wall mounting respectively.”
